Aamir promotes Peepli[Live] on Indian Idol
Bollywood’s
perfectionist Aamir Khan is a man known to keep his promise . He kept his promise to Sony Entertainment Television’s singing reality show ‘Indian Idol 5’ of coming back to the show with his star cast of Peepli [Live] . During his last visit to the show, the actor had made a promise to the contestants to come again and it was fulfilled tonight.
The lucky top 3 contestants of the reality show sang in the company of Aamir Khan again. The actor was seen playing drum with the rock band ‘Indian Ocean’, that introduced the show tonight with their performance on one of the songs from Peepli[ Live].
Aamir also showed his skills on the piano as he plays a popular tune, which he said to have learned from his children. The cast of the movie requested the top 3 contestants to perform their favorite numbers. Finalists Sreeram, Rakesh, and Bhoomi impressed them with their powerful performances.
The episode with Aamir Khan and Peepli Live casts will be aired on August 9th at 9 pm only on Sony Entertainment Television.

Oil Spill in Gulf Coast
First video of the oil spill in the Gulf Coast funneling about 210,000 gallons of crude a day. BP worries that the ooze reaching a major ocean current could carry the oil to through Florida Keys and up the East Coast. In nearly a month since an oil rig called the Deepwater Horizon exploded off the coast of Louisiana, killing 11 workers in late April,2010. This oil spill has cause catastrophic damage to the water life, related businesses and cost billions of dollars in clean up efforts.

RIP Ernie Harwell: 1918-2010
The voice of Tiger's team and the Hall of Fame broadcaster, Ernie Harwell passed away on tuesday, May 4th in Novi, Michigan. Ernie Harwell was 92. Harwell had on eof the longest runs by a sportscaster with one major league club calling Tigers game for 42 seasons. Beyond his consummate broadcasting skills, Harwell's cheerfulness and friendliness made him a local treasure. Hundreds of fans gathered at the Comerica Park to pay their homage when the news of Ernie Harwell's passing broke in Michigan.

President Barack Obama was the keynote speaker at the University of Michigan spring commencement 2010 on May 1st. Addressing the thousands of graduates at the Michigan Stadium, President Obama urged them to keep the democracy going, and to stay away from the partsian politics. While President Obama acknowledged the difficult times of today- when the graduates are entering the job market in the worst economy since the Great Depression, he also urged them to contribute to the society in anyway they can.The speech marked the third time a sitting president has delivered a graduation speech at U-M. George H. W. Bush spoke in 1991 and Lyndon Johnson in 1964. A total of 12 past, present or future presidents have visited the campus of University of Michigan.

A Muslim majority district, Kishanganj is situated in the North East part of Bihar, bordering West Bengal, Bangladesh and Nepal.
During the period of Khagada Nawab, Mohammed Fakiruddin, one hindu saint arrived, he was tired and wanted to rest at this place, but when he heard that this place name is Alamganj, the river name is Ramzan and the Jamindar name is Fakiruddin, he refused to enter at Alamganj.
After that the Nawab decided and announced some portion from Kishanganj Gudri to Ramzan pool gandhi ghat as Krishna Kunj. As time passed by the name gets converted to present KISHANGANJ
