Sticking to the New Year's Resolution is quite a challenge. Experts predict that about 20% of people quit their promises by Februry 1st of the year and revert back to their old practices. The reason being that most of us set unrealistic goals and lack the committment to follow through. Change is an attractive concept but it turns into a frightening reality when following the course. Many give up cause they just can't keep up.
The key to a sticking to the New Years Resolution is to mentally prepare for the challenges and go slow with your expectations. Clear your mind about the fears of making changes, set real goals with a timeline. Failures are a part of learning, so don't get discouraged by the occassional obstacles you face. Keep at it.
