Experience music, dance and drama from around the world when Canton’s International Festival returns to The Village Theater at Cherry Hill on Saturday, January 21, 2012. This cultural and educational festival, which will be held from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., offers participants entertainment and experiences celebrating diverse customs and traditions on the main stage of The Village Theater, located at 50400 Cherry Hill Road Canton, MI 48187.

Celebrate the diversity of the Canton community through song and dance from various cultural groups. Featured dance performances will represent various cultures and countries, including: India, Tahiti, Hawaii, New Zealand, Ireland, China, the Middle East, and the United States.

A local Destination Imagination team composed of students from Canton are staging a benefit concert on Saturday, January 14, 6:30-8:30 PM in the library's Community Room, with proceeds being donated to the Canton Public Library. The concert will feature performances by local youth and concessions will be available.

Consider supporting these students and the library. Tickets are available at the Reception Desk for $8 and, when you buy one ticket at the full price, you can get a second ticket half off.
